No, the museum does not have a private car park. However, there are several garages or car parks in the vicinity.

The entrance ticket is €18 and includes an audio guide. However, there are several reductions. Please check this page out on “Plan your visit”

No, the free ticket on the first Sunday of the month only applies to the tour of the museum’s collections but NOT to the exhibition.

Tickets for the exhibition are nominative and can be purchased online at this page

At the time of purchase, the visitor’s personal details are requested, and, at the entrance, an original identity document must be shown in addition to the ticket

Yes, it is possible to change the name associated with the ticket by midnight of the day before the ticket is used  

In the event of non-use for reasons beyond the organiser’s control, tickets will not be refunded. Before concluding your online purchase, please carefully check all data provided (i.e.: date, time, number of tickets purchased).  

To purchase the exhibition ticket online, you will need to connect to this page and click on CHECK AVAILABILITY. At this point, simply select the date on the calendar, choose your preferred entry time from those available. Then select the type of reduction you are entitled to and the quantity of tickets you wish to purchase and proceed by adding them to your cart. Click on “Check Out” and, to finalize the purchase, select the payment method. Once the payment procedure is complete, you will receive confirmation of payment and the ticket in PDF format via email from the address: etickets@coopculture.it. The ticket can be printed at home or shown at the access control directly on the screen of your smartphone. If you do not receive immediate feedback, check your spam folder.

On the sales page you can check the availability of tickets within each individual slot. Days and slots highlighted in green have tickets that are still available for purchase. 

No, it is not possible to use the 18app or the “Carta Docente” card. The “Roma Pass” card is also excluded from the reduction.

You can also visit the Museum’s collection through the purchase of the integrated ‘Exhibition+Museum’ ticket. Alternatively, simply present your exhibition ticket at the Museum ticket office to obtain the associated discount. The reduction is valid until the end of the exhibition.

Reservations are strongly recommended due to high demand, although they are not mandatory. Check ticket availability on the online sales page

No, it is sufficient to show the digital ticket received by e-mail once the purchase procedure has been completed

La visita in autonomia della mostra dura in media 45 minuti anche se il tempo che ogni visitatore dedica alla visita delle sale risulta estremamente soggettivo. Le visite guidate hanno una durata di circa 1 ora.

Yes, audio guides are free of charge and included in the ticket price. 

Yes, although it is not permitted to take photographs of all the works in the exhibition, depending on the guidelines provided by the lenders. Works that may not be photographed are marked with a special graphic symbol and the exhibition staff is obliged to ensure that the prohibition is respected 

Yes, at the end of the tour there is a dedicated bookshop where the exhibition catalogue, the main publications dedicated to Caravaggio and the merchandising line created for the event can be found. 

No, it is not possible to access the bookshop without having purchased a ticket to visit the exhibition. 

No, for security reasons strollers are not allowed in the exhibition spaces. 

Animals, even small animals, are not allowed inside the exhibition spaces. 

Yes, there is a cloakroom service at the entrance to the exhibition where jackets and coats can be left. Please note that it is not permitted to visit the exhibition carrying large or dangerous objects, which must also be left at the cloakroom.  

It is possible to use the cafeteria inside Palazzo Barberini, located in the 19th-century greenhouse. For all relevant information check this page out.
